Milwaukee’s new demo hammer cuts the cord >
Milwaukee Tool unveiled an M18 FUEL demolition hammer it says hits harder than an 18-lb corded model. We’re talking 11.4 ft-lbs of impact energy and over 1/3 ton of material chipped away on a single 12Ah battery. Add vibration control, tool tracking, and wireless dust-extractor activation, and you’ve got serious power.
BRUNT’s giving away $1M in boots to future Pros >
Trade school students could be getting some fresh kicks in 2027. BRUNT Workwear is committing $1 million worth of work boots to students at trade schools across the country. Schools can apply starting January 1, 2027, with some programs receiving boots throughout the year.
BRUNT says it’s donated about 25,000 pairs since 2020, with a goal of 100,000 by 2030. Know a trade school that could use this? Pass it along.
DEWALT’s concrete-drilling robot made TIME’s Best Inventions list >
Meet DALE. It drills concrete, doesn’t need coffee breaks, and just landed on TIME’s Best Inventions of 2026 list. Built by DEWALT and August Robotics, the autonomous drilling robot is designed for big jobs like data center construction.
DEWALT says it can drill up to 10x faster than traditional methods and has already drilled 385,000+ holes with 99%+ accuracy.

Semper Fi, service dogs, and a Yorkie named Esmé >
For Marine Corps veteran Sean Clawson, running an HVAC business means more than keeping homes comfortable. It’s another way to serve.
“I have friends living with PTSD—and I’ve lost friends who suffered in silence. I just want to help my fellow veterans, and the best way that I know how to is to give my support to service dog organizations,” Sean says.
He’s putting those words to work through Working Dog Heating and Air, his HVAC business in Easley, SC. The company donates to organizations that train service dogs for veterans with PTSD.
“I know firsthand how much a dog can help anyone, especially veterans, get through difficult times, which is also why my Yorkie is the face of my company.”
