   2. Materials: Create a new line item for any major materials (e.g., “Bait Stations,” “Termite Monitoring Traps”).
   3. Labor: You can include labor in your service price or add it as its own line item (e.g., “Labor,” QTY: 2, UNIT PRICE: $75).

• Clear Totals: Provide a Subtotal for all charges, then add any applicable Tax to show a clear ESTIMATE TOTAL.
• Terms and Conditions: It is a best practice to add a text box or a note in the DESCRIPTION field with your payment terms, service guarantee, and scheduling information.

Important First Step: Make a Copy of the Template Before you begin, you must save a copy of the Google Sheet to your own Google Drive. The original template you receive is view-only, ensuring every user gets a clean version. To make your own editable copy:

1. Open the Google Sheet.
2. Go to the File menu in the top-left corner.
3. Select Make a copy. Your new, editable version will open, and you can now follow the steps below.

Step 1: Customize with Your Business Information Open your copied Google Sheet and go to the “Company & Customer Information” tab. Replace the placeholder logo and enter your company’s name, address, and contact details. Save this version as your master template.

Step 2: Enter Client and Estimate Details For each new job, fill in the client’s information in the same tab. Assign a unique Estimate # and set the Date.

Step 3: Detail the Treatment and Costs Move to the “Estimate Details” tab. In the ITEMIZED CHARGES table, create a new row for every single charge.

• Services: In the DESCRIPTION field, type the service name (e.g., “Quarterly Pest Service”). Set the QTY to 1 and enter the price in the UNIT PRICE column.
• Labor/Materials: In the DESCRIPTION field, type the part or labor (e.g., “Rodent Bait Stations”). Set the QTY and UNIT PRICE.
• Repeat this for all services, parts, and fees.

Step 4: Review the Automated Totals The template automatically calculates the AMOUNT for each line item and sums them into a Subtotal. In the summary section, just enter your Tax Rate (%), and the template will calculate the final ESTIMATE TOTAL.

Step 5: Save and Send Your Professional Estimate Review the “Printable Estimate” tab to see the clean, professional version of your document. To send it, go to “File” > “Download” and select “PDF Document (.pdf)”. A PDF is the standard, non-editable format for sending to clients.
