The Johns Hopkins CSSE dashboard is reporting 184,183 cases and 3,721 deaths as of 3:15pm pacific time on March 31 in the US.

The US is now ahead of China in terms of lives lost (China 3,309).

New York City remains the hardest hit by the growing outbreak. According to the dashboard data,

New York City is approaching 1,000 deaths (currently 932).

US AIRCRAFT CARRIER OUTBREAK

An ongoing outbreak onboard the

USS Theodore Roosevelt

aircraft carrier has put thousands of US Sailors and Marines at risk. Several identified cases have been evacuated, but the majority of the more than 100 cases remain onboard. The ship is currently in port in Guam.

Yesterday, thousands of warehouse and delivery drivers for Amazon and Instacart walked off the job.
